How many times do you visit your fridge when cooking? I, just once.

Busy mornings, busy afternoons, busy evenings even busy midnight. With two kids, home and work I am busy and pressed for time all the time.

So anything I can do to save a few minutes is great. I’m always innovating to find ways to save a few minutes here and there.

My latest project was to organise this basket that carries 99% of my cooking ingredients for any meal. This basket houses containers that hold chillies, curry leaves, garlic, onion and tomatoes.

I am lucky to have help at home for cooking but I do end up making at least 4 meals a week. On both Saturday, Sunday and sometimes midweek as well. So having this tray organised saves me a lot of time.

Before I start my cooking all I need to do is pull out this basket and my vegetable and I’m set to prepare my vegetable and dal. For my non-veg the only additional ingredient I need from the fridge is the ginger garlic paste apart from the non-veg. So this tray ensures that I make only one trip to the fridge instead of a few.
